Profile Systems Aligns Board Ahead of 50th Anniversary

Profile Systems Holdings has announced a formal restructuring of its executive board effective from the 1st of July, establishing a long-term succession plan as the company approaches its landmark 50-year milestone.

Established in 1978, Profile Systems has built their fundamental values on establishing long and trusting relationships with our nationwide network of customers, international suppliers and loyal team members.  With our knowledge and expertise within the industry we are considered a highly specialised technical hub for the Irish fenestration sector. The restructuring secures long-term continuity as the business develops its commercial divisions and core partnerships with Kömmerling and SAPA.

Under the new board structure:

    • Peter Kenny will become Chairman of the Board. After more than 40 years of steering the company’s strategic growth through unpredictable markets and unprecedented pandemics, with the support of valued customers, suppliers and team members, Peter will now focus on long-term corporate strategy and group governance.

    • Paul McCarthy steps into the role of Managing Director. Paul brings 36 years of industry experience to the role. He will now lead the company into its next chapter of long-term growth and stability for all stakeholders.

    • Sandra Forde formally takes up the position of Deputy Managing Director. With 26 years of tenure at the company, in finance, HR, corporate strategy and a Board member since 2015. Sandra will move to collaborate with Paul on the strategic and day-to-day management of the business.

    • Martin Cormican continues to lead operations and logistics as Operations Director. Backed by nearly 30 years of tenure at the company and a member of the Board since 2015, Martin is responsible for H&S, warehousing infrastructure and logistics, ensuring continuity of supply lines and optimal stock availability for our customers.

    • David Forde joins the Executive Board. David rejoined the company in October 2025. He brings over 30 years of industry experience including working with some of our main suppliers. David will work alongside Paul in supporting customers, focusing on the company’s commercial growth, market share acquisition, and the continued development of the exclusive Kömmerling and SAPA networks across Ireland.

Value-Engineered Performance Without Compromise

As the organisation prepares for its upcoming half-century milestone, the board is focusing its commercial strategy on value-engineered performance.

With fabricators and trade partners navigating an increasingly cost-conscious commercial landscape, Profile Systems will continue to commit to delivering the most innovative, sustainable and cost-effective systems solutions to our customers.

Leadership Perspectives

At a recent announcement to all the team, Peter said

“The company was established almost 50 years ago with a goal to build a reliable, high-quality foundation for the window and door market. This restructure is a natural, progressive evolution. Stepping into the role of Chairman allows me to focus on our broader corporate strategy, knowing the management of the business is in the hands of a deeply experienced team who know this business inside out.”

Incoming Managing Director Paul McCarthy added:

“I would like to thank Peter and the board for trusting me with the stewardship of Profile Systems. I look forward to working with the team who collectively bring well over a century of industry experience to our network. Our goal is to continue as the leading supplier of world-class window and door brands.”
